Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of Unbe's website, dashboard, command-line tools, APIs, and related services.

Effective July 22, 2026

1. Agreement and eligibility

By creating an account or using Unbe, you agree to these Terms. If you use Unbe for an organization, you represent that you can accept these Terms for that organization. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement.

2. Accounts and workspaces

You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting your authentication methods and tokens, and activity performed through your account. Workspace owners and administrators control membership, roles, projects, environments, and access within their workspace.

Tell us promptly at support@unbe.dev if you believe an account or token has been compromised.

3. Your content and secrets

You retain ownership of the data, configuration, and secret values you submit to Unbe (your “Customer Content”). You give Unbe the limited rights needed to host, encrypt, process, transmit, and display Customer Content solely to operate and improve the service and provide support.

You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to submit Customer Content and for configuring appropriate workspace, project, environment, member, and token access.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use Unbe to:

  • break the law or infringe another person’s rights;
  • access accounts, systems, or data without authorization;
  • distribute malware or facilitate phishing, fraud, or abuse;
  • probe, overload, disrupt, or bypass limits on the service, except through an authorized security-testing program;
  • resell or reproduce the service in a way that violates these Terms.

5. Security and service changes

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect the service, including authenticated encryption for stored secret values. No online service is completely secure or uninterrupted, and you should maintain appropriate recovery plans for systems that depend on Unbe.

We may update, add, or remove service functionality. We will use reasonable efforts to give advance notice when a material change is likely to significantly reduce paid functionality.

6. Paid plans and billing

Paid features, prices, billing periods, and usage limits are shown at checkout or in your plan details. Payments are processed by our billing provider. Except where required by law or stated at purchase, charges are non-refundable. You are responsible for applicable taxes.

7. Third-party services

Unbe may interoperate with third-party identity, payment, email, hosting, and developer services. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services, and Unbe is not responsible for third-party systems outside our control.

8. Unbe's intellectual property

Unbe and its licensors retain all rights in the service, software, branding, and documentation other than Customer Content. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service. Any open-source components remain governed by their applicable licenses.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Unbe at any time. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address security risk, unlawful use, non-payment, material breach, or harm to the service or others. Where practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unbe is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not promise that the service will always be available or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unbe will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, goodwill, or data. Unbe’s total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid Unbe in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms. We will post the revised version and update the effective date, and will provide additional notice for material changes when appropriate. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.

Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@unbe.dev.
